Musings and images from off the beaten path around the world
and within the human psyche
I'm an executive in the wellness industry, but hold a much more broad array of interests, including travel and unexplained phenomena. I am a certified travel agent (not practicing) and take thrill in helping others experience the most unique areas of the places they visit; to see things that only a select few others ever will and learn about the location, and themselves.
I was bitten by the travel bug early in life when my family would take summer road trips as my dad conducted sales calls or just on weekends as we drove around the backroads of Canada looking for interesting places and old buildings to explore. Having lived in 3 countries now and traveled to dozens more, I am always intrigued by what the majority of regular tourists (and let's face it....we are all tourists, even in our own towns) DON'T see, than what is at the end of long lines that millions have already photographed.
So far? Australia, New Zealand, Hawaii, the West Coast of North America and the Southwest. Each of these places are very different from the other, and truly special in their own way. In addition, the destinations that our psyches and human ingenuity take us continue to intrigue me; archaeological relics from thousands of years ago, the site of the first atomic bomb, locations of alleged spacecraft crashes, plant medicines that transport us into the inner recesses of the mind, and so much more that is rarely discussed...you'll find it here.
